Waterproofing supplies schedule of rates template

Waterproofing is bought as a system, primer, membrane, reinforcing and sealant from one manufacturer, and sold by the pail, the roll and the cartridge. Most of it comes in more than one size, so a schedule of rates names the size in each row along with the price.

Free, with no account and no email. Item names and units are filled in; the rates are left blank for you and your supplier.

Common items for the trade, not a recommendation. The rates are yours and your supplier's to agree.

Keep the unit the supplier bills in: CostCode checks the unit on each invoice line against the one agreed. A line billed in a unit that measures something else (per each where you agreed per metre, per tonne where you agreed per cubic metre) is held; one it can't compare, such as per day against per week, is left for a person to confirm, never converted.

Delete the rows you don't buy and add your own under them. Keep the first row as it is: it's how CostCode's importer knows which column is which, so there's nothing to match up by hand when you load it.

Charges waterproofing suppliers add on top

  • Delivery
  • Dangerous goods surcharge on solvent-based primers and membranes
  • Small-order fee

These aren't rows in the file. Agree them with the rates and record each as a charge agreement on the supplier in CostCode, where charge lines are checked against them. Why charges are kept apart

Filling it in and loading it

One row per size. A 15 L pail and a 4 L pail of the same membrane are two prices, and so are a 300 mL cartridge and a 600 mL sausage of the same sealant.

Rate membrane per pail, the way it's invoiced, not per litre or per square metre of coverage. How far a pail goes at the specified thickness is the manufacturer's to state and the specification's to set; the schedule holds the price.

A membrane warranty usually depends on the primer, membrane and reinforcing all coming from one manufacturer's system. Write the product names into the descriptions and ask the supplier for their codes: an invoice line is matched to a row by its code where both carry one.

Fill in the items, send the file to the supplier to put in or confirm the rates, and load it into CostCode with the date it applies from.
