Plans and prices
Every plan includes
- Every check on every line
- Upload PDFs and photos of invoices
- Agreed rates and schedules, including ones built from your invoices
- Duplicate invoice checks
- ABN and GST checks
- Supplier queries you review and send yourself
- Ask questions about your invoices
- Invite your team
- Payment run export
How the rate check works
A rate is checked against something you agreed. Load your supplier's schedule of rates, or have CostCode propose one from invoices you have already paid, and every line after that is checked against it. A line with no agreed rate and not enough history shows as Unverified, with the reason, never as passed. GST and ABN checks, and a second copy of an invoice you already have, work from the first invoice.
How it fits your payment run
- A file for whoever pays. Export the run as a CSV or Excel file. Exporting locks what's on it and records who did it.
- The day before you pay. Set your run day and the run is emailed to your team the morning before.
- Approved in full or short. Each invoice on the Pay list was approved by someone on your team, in full or short with the disputed amount kept back. One that wasn't fully checked says so.
On the way
- Forward invoices to your own CostCode address
- Xero and MYOB
Would it pay for itself?
Your numbers, not ours: the share of your supplier spend that would have to be overcharged and credited back to cover the price.
Starter covers that, at $39.00 a month. It pays for itself if
0.098%
of your supplier spend is overcharged and credited back.

Pricing questions
The full terms, including cancelling and GST, are in the Terms of Service.
What counts as an invoice?
Each supplier invoice CostCode reads and checks counts once. Sending the same file twice does not count twice, and neither does a document that turns out not to be an invoice.
What happens when the Free allowance runs out?
Free includes 20 invoices a month. Past that, the invoices you add are kept and wait. Checking picks up when the allowance renews, or straight away if you move to a paid plan.
And on a paid plan?
Checking carries on. Each invoice over your plan's monthly allowance is charged per invoice (A$0.40 on Starter, A$0.30 on Team, A$0.20 on Business), billed in arrears: with the next monthly charge, or at renewal on a yearly plan.
Monthly or yearly?
Either. Yearly is paid up front and costs 10 months' price for 12. The monthly allowance is the same either way.
Is GST included?
No GST is charged: we're not registered for GST. Prices are in Australian dollars, and the price shown is what you pay. Each charge comes with an invoice and a receipt, and neither is a tax invoice, so there is no GST credit to claim.
How do I pay, change plan or cancel?
By card, through Stripe. CostCode never sees your card number. Change plan or cancel any time from Settings. A cancelled plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free.
Does CostCode contact my suppliers?
Not on its own, ever. It can draft a query about a held invoice, and a person in your team reads it and presses send. Email to suppliers is off for a new organisation until you turn it on.
Will it find money on every invoice?
We don't promise a number. It checks every line against the rates you agreed and what you have paid before, holds what is wrong with the evidence, and shows plainly which lines it had nothing to check against.
