Plans and billing
The monthly allowance, what happens past it, upgrading, and cancelling.
The allowance
Every plan includes a number of invoices a month. Free includes 20, with every check and no card. Paid plans include more, and invoices past a paid plan's allowance are charged per invoice. Every number is on the pricing page.
On Free, an invoice past the allowance is stored and shows "Waiting on plan limit". It is read when the allowance renews, or straight away if you upgrade. It isn't lost and isn't billed while it waits.
Upgrading and managing billing
Owners and admins upgrade from Settings, Billing, and pay by card through Stripe; CostCode never sees the card. If card payment isn't switched on yet, that screen says so, and Free keeps working. Manage billing from the same screen to change the card or the plan.
Cancelling
Cancel any time from Settings, Billing. A paid plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then moves to Free. Your invoices and records stay.
